🥶Cold🥶

Morning to all,

Well, it was -4 this morning. Now it is 3 degrees out. The sun is out but not warm.
Our nasty winter this year has ice and snow going, and we still have ice on the limbs
of the trees right now. Never gets warm enough to melt it off.
We are feeding birds like crazy right now, doves, woodpeckers, red birds, and
all the rest of them thick right now wanting something to eat. So we feed them.

We are warm and cozy, even if the electricity goes out, we have back up and don't have
to worry about anything. Thank God.

Summer is coming, and I need spring real bad, have a huge log of marigold seeds
saved from last summer, I plan to plant them all this spring.

Been working on some more blocks yesterday, and today I will add lace to them.

My Gout is getting better and better.

Gout? 🤬

Morning to all,

I have now been fighting Gout! What is it? Oh, the stories I could tell you each
and every time it rears its ugly head. YEP! Once again, I got the big head and decided
that I could eat a little more meat than I should have. Not that I am overeating, not
that at all. It means that I made several different dishes using hamburger meat
instead of ground pork. I did these meals in a row, so to speak. All it took was me
having a small "steak" one night, then the next night we had a hamburger dish,
and I had some of that, then another a few days later. Needless to say, that is all it
took. My right foot has swollen up and has stayed that way now for over a week.
No need to see a doctor because they can not do anything for it. I just got too comfy
eating the red meat that I love. That is all it took.

Now, for over a week, a very painful, swollen foot. I think it is about to run its
course. I hope so. Will be a long time before I eat red meat again. I was doing great
for about 5 years, no problems, but you have to allow me a steak on my birthday
now and then. It had been so long, though it would not happen any longer, well, I
guess I proved that wrong. So for the rest of my life, it is red meat only once a
month, never any more than that. I should then be good to go.

I know one thing. If I could get my foot high enough to kick me in the butt, I would.
was being very reckless and did not even notice it. Got to admit, 5 years is a long
time, but I just proved it can still happen if you get a little too complacent.

The Eagle 🦅🪶

Hi all,

I wanted to share with you all the pic of the Eagle that Larry T. and Nita T.
did together, and placed it on the garage doors, or at the top between the
two doors. This thing was huge, I am not sure where it disappeard to by the
time we got here. But I have the pattern and will be trying to make it.

I love it so much. Larry cut it out, and Nita painted it.

I hope to do this in the coming summer.
I would love to make some for sale this summer.

Orange Pearl Pied Ringneck doves

Hello to all,

Today I have my next two doves looking for their forever home. They are
4-5 months old and healthy. Not sure of sex as of yet. Neck rings don't show
because of their age. They are listed on Craigslist and Hoobly to help get
the word out.
They are trained to drink out of a tube for water, to help keep water clean. They
are friendly. The person who adopts them will need a large cage. I hope they
will find a nice home with people who really love them and will take care of
them.
I prefer their forever home to be a non-smoking home; their tiny lungs don't need
to sit in an environment that is not healthy.

Orange Pearl Pied Ringneck Doves

They will need a large cage so they can be comfy. Large enough to take a bath in.
They make the neatest sounds, cooing all day long.
