Here is my first ever prairie point project. I made a pillow. Just in time for the 4th of July. :-)

My Purse

Here are the pics of my purse that I made.  I had fun finding the fabric, I love the fall of the year, so decided on a fall theme. I carry this every day, just love it, and have had many compliments on it.

My Garden Hat

Hello everyone,

This is my garden hat I made, it is reversible. Bought the hat, but wanted to make it mine. :-)   So this is what I did to it. Just love all the bugs and stuff. Makes my hat shine.  This was no easy task, I had to take the hat apart in order to do the embroidery on the inside and out. It does turn inside out for a different look.

Small haunting

Here I was playing around with 'fussy' cutting on the windows & did some artwork on the shingles.  This is called use up your scrapes because this is what it is made of. No pattern, just eye ball it and let the creative juices flow. :-)   I did have fun making this wall hanging using the raw edge finish.

Fall tabel runner

Fall time of the year, here is a lovely table runner you can make and enjoy. It is easy using squares turned on point. It does make a real pretty little touch of fall.  Still have not decided how I want to finish it off.

Here are pics of some of the table runners I made. I did have fun doing these and it takes no time at all. I gave two of them to my sister. You can make these as long or short as you want. Really easy to make and fast.

Hummers are wild this year

 Hello to all,

Boy the hummers are crazy this year, I have to fill the food jar every other day it seems. I even got a larger feeder this year.  I love that they are coming around.  The woodpeckers are eating up the suit and black sunflowers I have placed for them.

The chickens are doing just fine.  Still looking to add another 2 or 3 hens this year.

Dear members,

For those of you that have been following me for many years, sorry, but we have lost all the old posts from 2006 to now, blog won't import them. It is a shame to loose postings.  But, we can start with a clean slate.  ;-)

I do hope you will enjoy reading on my posts in here, it is everyday life, some digitizing, beading, scroll saw that I do, and lots of crazy quilting.
