Possum where?

Hello all,

I had a huge "possum" in my front yard last night eating the berries that fall from our trees.

WOW is the heat and humidity terrible outside, needless to say, we are staying inside during this time. Even my little guy, "Kricket" wants back in after being out for maybe 5 mins. 😄 Of course, I am right behind him.

Even the chickens are digging holes and laying in them. They have shade, but with all those feathers, just tooooooo hot and humid for them also.

Please remember to bring your outside pets during this heatwave and if you can't do that give them a huge bowl of water and keep them in the shade.

Happy 4th of July

Today is the 4th of July and here is wishing you a happy 4th.  It is so hot and muggy out there, I will stay inside and be cool. 😈

I am planning to do some work on quilting now. All in my yard is doing on its own, meaning it comes up and flowers and then dies. Just love all the flowering bulbs, have to, I say have to spray with "deer be gone" on all that that the deer love as they will eat all the buds and I never see a flower. They drive me nuts. 😓  Vince just saw a mom and two babies this morning on the road in front of our house, had her nose in the air checking, and then crossed the road and went over to the neighbor's yard. SO guess the "deer be gone" works well. 

Hope all have a lovely 4th. Stay safe around fireworks.
