Possum where?

Hello all,

I had a huge "possum" in my front yard last night eating the berries that fall from our trees.

WOW is the heat and humidity terrible outside, needless to say, we are staying inside during this time. Even my little guy, "Kricket" wants back in after being out for maybe 5 mins. 😄 Of course, I am right behind him.

Even the chickens are digging holes and laying in them. They have shade, but with all those feathers, just tooooooo hot and humid for them also.

Please remember to bring your outside pets during this heatwave and if you can't do that give them a huge bowl of water and keep them in the shade.

Happy 4th of July

Today is the 4th of July and here is wishing you a happy 4th.  It is so hot and muggy out there, I will stay inside and be cool. 😈

I am planning to do some work on quilting now. All in my yard is doing on its own, meaning it comes up and flowers and then dies. Just love all the flowering bulbs, have to, I say have to spray with "deer be gone" on all that that the deer love as they will eat all the buds and I never see a flower. They drive me nuts. 😓  Vince just saw a mom and two babies this morning on the road in front of our house, had her nose in the air checking, and then crossed the road and went over to the neighbor's yard. SO guess the "deer be gone" works well. 

Hope all have a lovely 4th. Stay safe around fireworks.

Happy Easter

Morning everyone, 

Wanted to wish everyone a very Happy Easter today. It is a lovely day, sun shining among some white clouds. But, still cold out side. Even though there are many little plants coming up right now.
But........be careful it is also April Fool's Day!

Morning to my bloggers

 Morning to everyone,

I am slowly coming back to digitizing. I guess I needed a break. 😉  Please keep my sister's husband (Larry) in your prayers as he is still in recovery--slow progress for him and a huge hill to climb.

I am working on a large rooster, this one will be good for a wall hanging or quilting or perhaps a pillow. Also, there will be a large owl.

I hope all are doing ok, this last winter has been a doozy. So COLD and so much snow, still not over with just yet though.  I look forward to getting out and enjoying the outdoors once again.

Is anyone working on any quilting??  I made two for Christmas for family. More to come for next Christmas.  I will post the pics of the quilts I made if I can find them.

Nita's newest designs started

Hello to all,

Prayers needed please

Dear members,

Have not posted in so long think I forgot how. 👼  I thought that I was here yesterday and made a post, but it is not showing, so will do it again. Ever had one of those days?

I have been busy this summer going to see Nita and Larry each month, this keeps me on my toes, between having to switch working days for my husband to make sure my chickens and other birds are all taken care of each time we leave. Nita and Larry have been having some bad months because of health issues. Please keep them in your prayers today as Larry goes in for knee replacement surgery today. I feel like I am sitting in limbo most of the time. 😟

I have not had time to do much digitizing at this time. Hopefully, this winter will return me to some free time for digitizing. I am learning the new software "Hatch". I love it but no more get into working with it and it is time to run to W.V. again. Larry has been very sick for a few months now. I cannot go into what all has happened. He has and still is one sick person. Can't say more for now. 😥

I do find I miss working on digitizing now that I have been away for some time. I hope you all enjoy coming by to keep an eye out for something new being posted. I have slipped a few new ones in on you. 😊

The weather has turned off very cool here in the '40s at night. But warms up during the day into the '60s. I know warm weather is still with us, just taking a break for now. It is that time of the year now where it will start cooling off. Love this time of the year.
