Nice sunny day to all

 Morning all, 

Well after a couple of really hard freezes in the 20's it is now going to warm up again, it has totally frozen the flowers on the tree that we're going to be so pretty this year are now yellow-brown in color and just hanging. So now we can only hope for a new year for a lovely spring again. 

I do have some tree lilies coming up and they seem to be ok. I sure hope they are going to be great nothing can beat them for color and sweet smell.

I am going to try and plant a garden this year, have not done that in decades, but want to give it a try. Maybe the funniest thing I do the year = stay tuned. 

The weeping willow trees are leafed out and don't seem to be hurt by the freezing temps. Yellow flowering bushes are a little nipped, but still have some flowers on them. Easter flowers as I call them lay down on the ground in the freeze, but come back up in the sunlight. Thank goodness.

Rainy Morning

Well, rainy this morning, and now the sun is out and it is windy and warm. A nice break from the snow and cold. Making me want spring more and more, but I am not ready for that either, need to do a lot of work within the house yet. Then we can play outside. 

Happy New Year

 Hello everyone, 

Just wanted to wish all a Happy New Year. We are doing ok, got our move to W.V. done. Still unpacking though. 

I will be working on a new website this year. 

We also have to check in with the VA here in W.V.  I tell you after hearing about the person who was killing veterans in the hospital here, I am in NO hurry to check in with these people. I understand they have "cleaned house", but this should have never happened to anyone. 

Hope to be able to work on some new designs this year and get back into quilting. Have two quilts that have been put on hold for two years because of all that has happened to us in the last two years.

I hope all are having a wonderful start to the new year.

Hope all stay safe and enjoy your warm home. We are snug in our new home in W.V. and enjoying. We still have a huge amount to unpack which will take I expect all winter. But we shall make it in time.

blog open for now-new website coming soon

 Hello to all members, 

Since I have lost my sister, Dec. 2, 2019, a lot of my inspiration has also left me and I am trying to get that back. She did encourage me and did hand draw many of the designs that I have digitized. For some time I could not even look at my blog site and not lose it. I am planning to have lower prices on the designs that Nita and I did together as a living memorial for my sister, Nita Twardzak.  All copyrights are transferred to her husband Larry Twardzak and myself on all artwork, she did for my site. 

They have changed the blog so much I am having trouble moving around in it. 😋  I am looking to be done with the blogger for a site and have my own website once again. Just a little longer on getting our move from OH to WV done, then only all the boxes to yet unpack and put someplace. So we are moving at a much slower pace for now. 

So for now if you come to view the blog you can. I am thinking that when I post a new page you are sent the page in the email address you signed up with. So might want to be sure your email is current.

Happy Halloween

Hope all will be able to safely get out and enjoy the fall of the year and have some fun. I have done some deco just to have a little fun. I am going to upload them here when I have time. 

Have some of the pretty trees around here also. We have moved now to West Virginia lock stock and barrel. So now it is the unpacking that will take all winter. UGH!! 

Larry is so happy that we are here also. We got to see Larry for 30 min's on last Sat. It was so great to be able to see him. Of course, had to keep our distance and wear masks and we also wore gloves. He looked so great and sounded great also. 

We have a lot of things to get done this fall and some things will have to wait until next year. There is enough to keep us busy for the rest of our lives. lol

Just mowed the yard for last time

 Hello to all, 

We have landed once again in Ohio for about one week and then we head on to W.V. for good. We have to collect the last things or "stuff" from the house and get it all packed to go. 

The drive back up was nice, leaves are so many colors, and hoping it will be the same on the way back down to W.V. Rained about half of the trip, no rain in Oh., but it looked like it has rained not too long ago.  

I hope to spend the winter unpacking and packing up stuff at my sis's home that we do not need out on display. This is hard but has to be done, the whole downstairs is full of boxes we have a trail to walk through, bedrooms full, and garage and sheds also. So plenty of stuff to do once we get landed and settled in. 

Then I hope to have a website once again and get back into digitizing and scrolling in wood and quilting and beading. Now that does not sound like there is too much stuff to do, right? 

Cool here in OH- in the 40's

 So here we are again working on packing stuff. This is the last trip I am making, Vince may have to make one more trip using a trailer to get the end stuff. I can't wait for this move to be over with. Never knew we could collect so much stuff, well at least after this move, there will be a whole lot less stuff to deal with and we may get rid of some more as we unpack boxes on the other end. lol 

So just an update about Larry, he is doing great even though he has COVID-19. Could it be the blood treatments he gets 3 times a week to be the secret? We are sure hoping so.  He is doing great on that end of things. However, he did lose the middle toe on his right foot last week while at the hospital. So the foot is healing ok, and it is no bother to Larry. 

Just checking in so that is it for now. I know it is not this cool down in W.V!
